Flour – 2 cups
Eggs – 4
Castor sugar – 1 ˝ cups
Baking powder – 1tsp
Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
Coffee powder – 1 tsp (I used a strong one)
Butter – 100 gms
White chocolate chips – ˝ cup
Water – 2 to 3 tbsp
1.Bring all the ingredients to room temperature. Beat the butter and sugar together till they are creamy in consistency.
2.Coat the chocolate chips in flour. Now add the eggs one by one to the butter mixture alternating with the flour.
3.Mix the coffee and the cocoa powder with 2 to 3 tbsp of hot water and let it come to room temperature.
4.Add the cocoa mix to the cake batter and whisk it for few seconds.
5. Now add the baking powder and give it a final whisk and see that the powder is mixed nicely in the batter.
6.Grease a 9 inch baking tin and pour the cake mixture into it.
7. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and bake for 40 mins or till the skewer comes out clean.
Let the cake cool down before you take it out from the baking pan. Serve it hot with coffee or milkshake.
